Brow Lamination Aftercare Tips
Avoid Water for 24 Hours: Right after your brow lamination, keep your brows dry for the first 24 hours. This means no steamy showers, saunas, swimming, or sweating.
Skip Makeup on Brows: Avoid applying any makeup, including brow products, for the first day to allow the lamination to fully set and prevent any irritation.
Use a Gentle Cleanser: When cleansing your face, use a gentle, sulfate-free cleanser to avoid stripping the natural oils from your brows.
Brush Brows Daily: After the initial 24 hours, brush your brows daily with a spoolie brush to keep them in place. Brushing helps maintain the lamination effect and keeps them looking fluffy.
Apply a Nourishing Oil: Use our Gold Brow Serum or a natural oil like castor oil, argan oil, or jojoba oil every evening to keep your brows hydrated and to protect the hair from drying out. Apply a small amount to the brows and brush through with a spoolie.
Be Gentle with Your Brows: Avoid tugging, rubbing, or scrubbing your brows, especially when washing your face or removing makeup.
How to Care for Your Brows Between Lamination Sessions
Use a Brow Serum/Oil daily: A brow serum can encourage growth and keep brows looking full. Look for serums with peptides, biotin, or vitamins that nourish and support hair health.
Keep the Shape of Brows: Between lamination sessions, you can book a brow maintenance appointment to get a tint, wax and shape. Do not try to wax or trim your brows in between sessions.
Schedule Your Next Lamination: Brow lamination lasts around 6-8 weeks, so mark your calendar for your next session to maintain the look. Overdoing lamination too soon can stress the brow hairs, so stick to the recommended timing for the best results.
